Emotion

            Autistic people have very strong emotions, they need special care and attention when feeling overwhelmed. Parents, if your autistic child is feeling down or angry, talk to them and work out a solution that you two both agree on. Change the subject if you have to, such as talking about something that their interested in to make them feel better. Making your child laugh is good as well.

            Autistic People, don't be afraid to do something you don't want to do. A great teacher i know says that "we all don't want to do things that we got to do". For example, not going to school or your job. If someone doesn't go to work or school, that person get bad grades or get fired. There are life consequences involved if you don't work through life problems.

            It will be hard because of the emotions, but practice working through them. Do some chores that you don't want to do is one way to practice.

Great Minds

            Hello! This blog is about giving help to people who have autism, and also helping parents who have autistic children. I myself have autism, and I just hope that this blog will help you with your problems.

            Anyway, to start off, I would like to say that being autistic is awesome! If someone tells a autistic person that their stupid or any other words related to it, that someone is wrong. Everyone in this world is in the world for a reason, and have a task to complete in life.

            Autism helps people become more smarter i think, because we autistic people are always worried, scared, or uncomfortable in events in everyday life. Being worried is alright, it helps others realize what is wrong, or what might happen next.

            Overall, autism help others become more aware in their lives, it is one of the many reasons that makes autistic people special.
